My thoughts on link building

Throughout my career as a link builder and SEO, I have invested thousands of dollars and countless hours into finding and testing the best tools and software systems on the market.  It's no secret that link building is the most important skill in SEO. In fact, it's a culmination of several different skills: you need to master content, sales, programming, psychology, and good old-fashioned marketing if you want other people to link to your site. Bottom line?

A case study by Stone Temple published in 2017 proved again that links remain a powerful ranking factor and are likely to remain so for many years to come. SEO is a marathon game and you should definitely approach it from a long-term perspective requires lots of resources and supporting SEO Hull tools. So, we know that guest blogging can be a powerful vehicle to build quality links and drive targeted referral traffic… But, where do you start?

It is well known that backlink Building is the most important Ranking factor in SEO. Building Quality backlinks to your website, is essential for your website Rankings and reputation.  A “backlink” is created when an external website links to yours. This why some people refer to them as “external backlinks”. Here's how it looks in action: what are backlinks. These links are a large piece of the ranking puzzle. Links are crucial to any SEO strategy. Google has confirmed links remain one of the top two ranking factors, and data has revealed pages are unlikely to rank without backlinks.

Today's negative SEO efforts now look almost indistinguishable from genuine backlink building efforts a few years ago – but that's the point – negative SEO efforts want to make it look like YOU built the links yourself – when they submit your site to Google next month to get you penalised. Do the maths!

It has undoubtedly become the most time-consuming and frustrating SEO job lately. How do you build backlinks? How do you do that effectively and safely? And is link building even worth your effort after all? There has been a lot of rumors regarding links in the last year or so. A lot of SEO experts claim that links will lose their previous value. There are even case studies that claim user engagement stats are already more important than backlinks. It is really hard to determine which way Google will go.

Backink building is the most important of all off-page SEO factor. Three link building strategies that anyone can start using now and in the near future. Creating good content is necessary to building links, but it isn't enough. Links don't happen on their own. They require strategic, manual promotion to the right audience. And since links are still an integral part of Google's ranking algorithm, failure to do link building will limit your SEO prospects.

Link building is regularly a hot topic among marketers and SEO professionals alike. While some call this practice obsolete, others claim that it's one of the most efficient ways of boosting your search ranking. So, who should you believe? In all honesty, search engines didn't do a very good job at clearing up the confusion.
